Iron Flash Skin: treatment for expression lines

This treatment relaxes certain groups of facial muscles to reduce expression lines without altering your natural facial expressions, which are so important in your daily social life.

Indications:

Patients who have an excess of expression lines in relation to the general state of their face.

Treatment:

Treatment consists in injecting botulinum toxin into certain muscle groups which are selected based on the type and depth of the patient’s expression lines.  Botulinum toxin is a protein that has been used for many years in various medical fields to reach diverse objectives and has proven to be quite safe. The injection is administered in one session that lasts approximately fifteen minutes. Topical anesthetic cream can be applied before the injection to minimize discomfort. The patient has a check-up after two weeks and again after six months.

 

Advice for the home:

·It is not advisable to do intense physical activity directly after the treatment.

·The patient must not go to sleep immediately following the procedure.

·It is not advisable to rub injected areas.

 

Contraindications:

Those who have/are:

·Hypersensitivity to any of the components injected.

· Myasthenia gravis.

· Lambert–Eaton myasthenic syndrome.

·Inflammation or infection in the injected area.

·Pregnant or breast feeding.
